Many Heritage Harbour residents are devotees of Pickle Ball.
Pickle Ball is an offshoot of tennis that emphasizes coordination, control, and strategy. It is a net game, played by two or four individuals, on a 20' by 40' court. The game uses a perforated ball and special paddles that are slightly larger than a ping pong paddle.
At Heritage Harbour, the game is played in two locales:
- Three of our nine tennis courts that have Pickle Ball lines superposed on the tennis striping
- Recreational Activities Room of the Lodge.
At designated times, on three days each week, 30 to 40 players turn up for round robin play.
