The Heritage Harbour Computer Club (HHCC) is an independent and registered entity within the Heritage Harbour organization. HHHC trains and assists its members in the use of their home computers.
Such training includes classes in keyboard and mouse operations as well as classes in Internet, E-mail and various computer applications. Training methods include hands-on as well as lectures and demonstrations. All instruction is on a volunteer basis.
HHCC also provides volunteer services to the community-at-large by conducting special events such as the Super Sunday Football Game Party and periodic movie showings. It also sponsors demonstrations by venders of hardware or software that are thought to represent particular interests of the club membership.
Membership in the Heritage Harbour Computer Club is open to all members of the Heritage Harbour Community Association. The cost is $10.00 per year and includes all members of the household. For non-members who choose to attend a training class the membership cost is included in the cost of the class. All membership and class fees are used to purchase hardware and software and to cover club expenses. The HHCC courses are usually held in the Lodge Multipurpose Room.
