Anne Arundel Community College offers a year-round program at
the Heritage Harbour Lodge. The program is divided into four
sessions: fall, winter, spring, and summer. Registration is held
eight or nine weeks prior to the beginning of each quarter.
Information regarding class schedules and registration is
published in Harbour Lights, listed on the community website,
announced on the Heritage Harbour television channel, and posted
on the Lodge bulletin board. Information regarding current
classes can be found in the Library at the Lodge in a binder
marked AACC. The binder is on top of the bookshelf on
the left wall as you enter the Library, below the large wall
map. Descriptions of upcoming
classes will be placed in the binder as available.
The total cost for seniors (60 and above) is $80 per
session (administrative senior cycle fee). Non-seniors (ages: 55-59) pay an additional $40 per
course. Newcomers are welcome to observe a class in
session but only registered students may participate in
classes. Check the Lodge bulletin board for current class
schedule.
The same exercise classes tend to continue from one
session to the next although participants must register anew
for each quarter. Classes other than exercise vary, although
there are a few favorites that are offered session after
session as long as there is continued interest.
For questions about registration, comments about the AACC
program at Heritage Harbour, and suggestions for future
courses contact any one of the committee members: S. Rich,
P. Anderson, G. Curlen, M. McDonald, G. Turman or C. Sabol.
